Body for Life, Day 5

Well, I have been on a three-day plateau. I am not too concerned. I am feeling good and working out hard and I have a lot of energy so I am not too worried…yet. I had a similar experience with The Abs Diet as some may recall. I felt great and was advancing my fitness, but not my weight loss. Now, this could be losing fat and building muscle. Body For Life talks about that as a possibility. If this continues, I will have the body fat % measured and see where we stand.

Today’s food looks like this:

  • Oatmeal and an egg for breakfast
  • Myoplex bar (snack)
  • Turkey sandwich (lunch)
  • Myoplex Bar (snack)
  • Dinner - I am going out to Second Empire in downtown Raleigh. I suspect I will be allright onthe diet based on the menu at the place. I’ll keep you posted.
  • Myoplex shake (snack)

Yesterday I stuck to the diet very well. I also got up and ran at 5:30 am. This morning I was up at 5:30 for a legs and abs workout. I am a bit concerned that the legs workout will make my legs really sore. I don’t do many legs workouts. It might affect tomorrow’s run. We’ll see. I looked up a FAQ for Jeff Galloway today and he says it is okay to run through minor soreness from leg training.
