Yay. After my poor review of the Mio strapless heart rate monitor, I got this model from Polar. This model (the FS) has a strap that goes around your chest, but that is a minor inconvenience considering all of the benefit. It is really cool in that it delivers constant heart rate data as well as a stopwatch. I really like it. I’ll be honest, the strap is not the most fun thing to wear and it sort of feels like a bra strap (not that I have ever worn a bra!!) but the monitor is awesome for my runs and seems very accurate (as near as I can check with my stopwatch). If you are looking for one of these, my vote is Polar over Mio.
